Beckley - Raleigh County Convention Center

The locals watch for this show every year and visitors to Raleigh County, WV are drawn to the beautiful, hand-crafted wares.  It's the annual Appalachian Festival Arts & Crafts Show, hosted by the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce and now in its 54th year!

Feast your eyes on the colors, feel the wonderous textures, appreciate the love and care which designed and made every piece.  West Virginia is abundant with talent and this talent can be seen and purchased at the show.  Over 100 vendors will show and sell their creations.  Everything from quilts, to pottery, to sculptures, to wood works. 

In addition to the crafts, the show features daily musical entertainment for your listening pleasure.  Everything from traditional Celtic to Bluegrass, these WV entertainers are sure to please.


Hours of the Show 

 

Friday, August 24:  10:00am – 6:00pm

10:00am:  Doors Open

 

Saturday, August 25:  10:00am – 6:00pm

Friday August 24

Lost Cannon Bluegrass Band will perform at 1:30 pm
Shane Ingram & Friends will perform at 3:00 pm
Beyond Therapy will perform at 4:30 pm 

Saturday August 25

Lilly Mountaineers will perform from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm


Sunday August 26

Lilly Mountaineers will perform from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

                     
Hungry?  Don't worry!  The Appalachian Festival Arts & Crafts Fair is all set to offer a variety of foods and treats!  Oh, you can just smell the aroma of Kettle Corn, Steak Sandwiches, and so much more!

Appalachian Treasures Quilt Show will be back
this year at the Appalachian Arts & Crafts Fair


The Quilt Show will celebrate its 45th year at the festival. The year's featured theme category will feature Row to Row quilts that are constructed by hand or machine.  

For rules, regulations, a list of categories, and an entry form call Gayle McCray at 304-253-0524.  Quilt-lovers interested in volunteering for two- or three-hour shifts during the festival may also call Gayle.
